# From Flesh to Sea.

Do Corpo Nasce o Mar.

The body is both origin and passage. It is womb, primordial territory, and also skin that opens to the world. The images revealed are fragments of a shared memory that flows from the intimate to the landscape, as if the waters of the interior slowly unfolded until they met the sea.
The sea, here, is a metaphor for a vast, untamed feeling, sometimes held in.
                 It has shores, but refuses them.
Like the body, burdened with desire, yet learning to quiet it. Each photograph evokes that threshold, between what is held back and what is given, between gesture and absence. They are visual constructions of an inner experience, where time solidifies into matter, and the gaze transforms into skin. They touch the world and then retreat, returning to themselves. It is a movement from within to without, but also back again.
A cycle. A poetic attempt to narrate the unspeakable. And, above all, an invitation to listen to what still pulses within us, like the sea in containment.

O corpo é origem e passagem. É ventre, território primordial, e também pele que se abre ao mundo. As imagens que se revelam são fragmentos de uma memória comum que escorre do íntimo para a paisagem, como se as águas do interior se desdobrassem lentamente até encontrarem o mar.
O mar, aqui é metáfora de um sentir vasto, indomável, por vezes contido.
                            Tem margens, mas recusa-as.
Como o corpo, carregado de um desejo mas que aprende a silenciar. Cada fotografia convoca esse limiar, entre o que se contém e o que se entrega, entre o gesto e a ausência. São construções visuais de uma vivência interior, onde o tempo se sedimenta em matéria, e o olhar se transforma em pele. Tocam o mundo e recuam, voltam a si. É um movimento de dentro para fora, mas também de volta. Um ciclo. Uma tentativa poética de narrar o indizível. E, sobretudo, um convite a escutar o que em nós ainda pulsa, como mar em contenção.
